We built this app with a simple principle: your recordings belong to you and only you. We do not upload, sell, or share your audio files with anyone.
Data We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. The app functions entirely on your device without sending information to external servers.
Audio recordings are saved locally on your device only — either in the app's
private internal storage or in the Music/VoiceRecorder folder on your external storage,
depending on your settings. No file is ever transmitted off your device by this app.
Permissions Used
The app requests only the permissions necessary to function:
Microphone
Required to capture audio during recording sessions. The microphone is accessed only when you start a recording. It is never accessed in the background without your action.
Storage (Android 9 and below)
Required on older Android versions to save recordings to external storage (Music folder). On Android 10+ (Q), no storage permission is needed.
Foreground Service / Notification
Used to show a persistent notification while recording is active in the background, so you can control playback and stop the recording from the notification shade.
Storage of Recordings
All recordings are stored exclusively on your device. You can choose between:
Files saved to Internal Storage are accessible only by this app and are deleted when the app is uninstalled. Files saved to External Storage persist after uninstall and are accessible via your device's Files app.
We never transmit, back up, or upload your recordings to any server or cloud service.
Third-Party Services
This app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting tools that would collect your data.
The app may contain a link to the Google Play Store for rating and sharing. If you follow those links, Google's own Privacy Policy applies. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Children's Privacy
This app does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect any personal information from any user, regardless of age.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.
